Prime Day is here once again, bringing incredible deals on everything from electronics to home décor to kids' toys to Amazon Prime members around the world. However, while you can save big on virtually anything you can think of during Prime Day sales, which run on Oct. 12 and 13, experts say there are two clear standouts when it comes to the shopping holiday.
"Today I'll be looking for deals on items the whole family will enjoy, like some new Levi's," says Sara Skirboll, RetailMeNot's shopping and trends expert. She notes that the iconic denim brand is offering up to 45 percent off its products.
This Sherpa Trucker Jacket, for instance, is a great addition to any fall wardrobe, especially now that it's priced down from $98 to $59.
Skirboll says Prime Day is also a great time to score those presents for friends and family that might be otherwise cost-prohibitive at full price.
"This is the start to the holiday sales season, if you see a deal you really think is worth the purchase, go for it," she says, noting that Bose headphones are an especially good deal this Prime Day, at 23 percent off.
